What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit ancairesponsorship.com, get in touch through the contact form, or use the Orbit Score assessment tool. It doesn't cover the separate checkout process if you purchase the Orbit Sponsorship System through Lemon Squeezy, that purchase is covered by Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms and privacy policy, since Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for that transaction.
The personal data we collect and why
When you use the contact form or email us directly
• What we collect: your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message (which may include details about your event, organisation, or role).
• Why: to read, respond to and follow up on your enquiry. We don't use this to add you to a marketing list without your separate consent.
When you use the Orbit Score assessment tool
• What we collect: your answers to the assessment questions, your resulting score and if you choose to receive your full results. the email address, name and organisation name you provide.
• Why: to generate and send you your results, and where you've agreed to it, to follow up about the Orbit system.
Automatically, when you browse the site
• What we collect: standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through Squarespace's built-in analytics, which sets cookies by default to run the site and measure visits.
• Why: to understand how the site is used and to keep it running securely.
Our legal basis for processing your data
Under GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
• Legitimate interests to respond to enquiries you send us and to understand basic site usage so we can maintain and improve it.
• Consent for non-essential cookies and analytics beyond what's strictly needed to run the site and for any marketing follow-up beyond directly answering your enquiry. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
• Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract if your enquiry is about engaging our services or purchasing the Orbit system.
Who we share your data with
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and deliver what you've asked for:
• Squarespace, Inc.: our website host, which also provides the site's built-in analytics.
• Netlify, Inc.: hosts the Orbit Score assessment tool.
Both Squarespace and Netlify are based in the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it to the standard required under GDPR.
Cookies
Squarespace sets certain cookies by default to run this site and to provide us with visitor analytics. Some of these are strictly necessary for the site to function; others help us understand how visitors use the site and are not essential.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and assessment data for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up period afterwards. If that contact leads to an ongoing client relationship, we keep the relevant data for as long as needed for that relationship and for any legal, accounting or tax requirements that follow it. We don't keep personal data indefinitely for no reason.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it (right of access).
• Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (right to rectification).
• Ask us to delete your data, where there's no good reason for us to keep it (right to erasure).
• Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing, including any marketing use.
• Ask for your data in a portable format, where relevant.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we're relying on consent. This won't affect anything already done before you withdrew it.

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, we'd like the chance to put it right first email us directly. You also have the right to complain to Ireland's supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission, at www.dataprotection.ie, at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time for example, if we start using a new tool that processes personal data. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
